Derek is an active Volunteer with us and RSVP Singapore, which is the Organisation of Senior Volunteers.

He had studied, lived and worked in the United Kingdom and New Zealand before returning to Singapore. He had volunteered for several organisations during his time in New Zealand.

He was a Chartered IT Professional (British Computer Society), has a MSc in Business Systems Analysis & Design (London) and a Honours Degree in Accountancy (Newcastle).

Derek worked for many years as an Information Technology consultant for various large multi-national corporations in the defence, aero-space, telecommunication and banking sectors in Europe.

He trains people in Information Technology and is good at it because he has good IT skills, experience and knowledge to do so.

Kwan is an active Volunteer with us and RSVP Singapore, which is the Organisation of Senior Volunteers.

Kwan had studied, lived and worked in Singapore, Australia, Thailand, United Kingdom and New Zealand before returning to Singapore. She had volunteered for several organisations during her time in New Zealand.

A journalist by training, Kwan has worked in the media, public relations, corporate communications, conference management and banking. She is skilled and experienced in writing, editing, marketing communications and web content management.

Kwan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, and English & Comparative Literature (Perth).
